Gokhan Celik wins AIChE Catalysis and Reaction Engineering (CRE) Division Travel Award

Graduate student Gokhan Celik recently attended the 2016 Annual Meeting of the American Institute of Chemical Engineers (AIChE) in San Francisco, CA from November 13-18.

During the meeting, Celik presented the following two papers:

  1. Wash-Coat Development for Lean-Burn Engine-Exhaust Aftertreatment: A Novel Way of Incorporation of Binder to Pd Supported on Sulfated Zirconia (oral presentation);
  2. Aqueous-Phase Hydrodechlorination of Trichloroethene over Pd-Supported on Swellable Organically-Modified Silica (SOMS) (poster presentation).

Celik is a fourth-year PhD student in Professor Umit Ozkan's group.
