Ozkan gives invited lecture

Umit Ozkan was invited to give the St. Albert the Great Lecture at Ohio Dominican University. Presented annually in honor of the Dominican Feast Day of St. Albert the Great, the series brings prominent researchers to the Ohio Dominican campus to speak on a variety of scientific topics. St. Albert the Great, also known as Albertus Magnus (1200-80), is the German Dominican patron saint of those who study the natural sciences.

Ozkan, whose research in heterogeneous catalysis and catalytic materials, sustainability, energy, and the environment is highly regarded around the world, delivered her lecture on November 11, 2015.
