This is my 3rd year on the CEGC leadership team, and I am a 4th year PhD candidate in Dr. Palmer’s research lab. My research is focused on the development and optimization of hemoglobin-based oxygen carriers to be used in emergency transfusion medicine and organ perfusion. I received my bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering and Chemistry from Calvin University in Grand Rapids, MI. In my free time I love to read (favorite genres: fantasy, mythology, psychological thrillers, and historical fiction) and currently dance with a studio off-campus. |

I am a 2nd year PhD student working with Dr. Brunelli. My research focuses on developing aminosilica catalysts for economically feasible isomerization of glucose to fructose for eventual future material design in basic catalysis. I am from Buffalo, New York, and completed my undergrad degree locally at SUNY Buffalo. My hobbies include keeping up with (and occasionally playing) sports and music, as well as visiting new places both in and out of Columbus. |

I am a 2nd year PhD student in Dr. Fan’s group of clean Energy Research. I work on developing sustainable pathways that aim at minimizing the dependence on fossil fuels such as converting solid fuels (Biomass, Plastics, Solid waste etc.,) to hydrogen using chemical looping platform. I received my master's in chemical engineering from University of Petroleum and Energy Studies, India. In my free time, I love watching K-dramas, baking and exploring new places with family and friends. |

I am a 2nd year PhD student being co-advised by Dr. Paulson and Dr. Bakshi (ASU). My research is focused on applying advanced optimization methods to climate resistant process design practices for the food energy water nexus. I received my BS in Chemical Engineering from West Virginia University in Morgantown, WV, which is where I am originally from as well. When I’m not doing research, you can usually find me somewhere outside, as I love to run, bike, hike, golf, and play really any other kind of sport with friends. |

I am a 2nd year MS student working with Dr. Rathman in the field of chemoinformatics. My research involves optimizing machine learning models to predict chemical properties. I received my bachelor's degree in chemical engineering from Ohio State and am part of the Combined BS/MS degree program for chemical engineering. In my free time, I love to run on the Olentangy trail, read books, and hang out with friends. |

I am a 2nd year PhD student in Dr. Asthagiri’s group of Computational Catalysis. My research is focused on CO2 photo-electroreduction on metal oxide surfaces using DFT (Density Functional Theory) aided molecular simulations. I received my bachelor's in chemical engineering from BMS College of Engineering, India and master’s in chemical engineering from NIT Warangal, India. Outside of research, my interests include cooking, watching anime, reading books (favorite genres: mystery thriller, non-fiction self-help), and watching sitcoms. |
