Undergrad nominated for 2022 Homecoming Court

Although it is a sad day for Royalty internationally, on the local level we applaud our own Anjali Tewari for being nominated to The Ohio State 2022 Homecoming Court.

Court members are chosen based on their leadership qualities, spirit, integrity, and achievement through their contributions and involvement at Ohio State.

Anjali has been a dedicated member of the community ever since her first semester at Ohio State. Recognized by her peers as a very hard worker who gives 110% to everything she does, she is also known for her welcoming attitude and is a friendly face to everyone in the chemical engineering department.

Anjali's community involvement includes service as the Women in Chemical Engineering events coordinator. Despite the name, she was able to engage not just women in chemical engineering, but the entire College of Engineering and STEM students, faculty, and staff. Through these events, Anjali brought diverse perspectives to attendees, providing them with techniques to be better listeners, value the input of all team members, and become more well-rounded engineers.

In 2021, she won the peer-nominated Community Outreach Award from the student chapter of the American Association for Chemical Engineers (AIChE).

At the university level, Anjali also won The Ohio State University Office of Student Life's three annual Leadership Awards: The Spirit of Ohio State-Individual Award; the Boehm Holistic Wellness Award; and the Diversity Engagement Award. Quite an achievement!

The 2022 Homecoming Court Royal Buckeyes will be announced during pre-game on Saturday, October 1, 2022.

Good luck, Anjali!
