Celebrating a strong CBE Team

At the recent College of Engineering Staff Awards luncheon, the William G. Lowrie Department of Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering (CBE) stood out from the pack with staff members taking home three of the five total awards handed out. Brian Endres, Wenda Williamson, and Geoff Hulse were each recognized.

Over 200 people attended the luncheon, which was held to show appreciation for all staff in the College of Engineering. Dean David Williams and Associate Dean for Research Dorota Grejner-Brzezinska presided over the events, joined by Ohio State's official mascot, Brutus!

Award-winners included

Brian Endres
Brian Endres, CBE's undergraduate academic advisor, who won the COE Outstanding Service to Students Award. Brian also won the Outstanding Advisor Award from the Academic Advising Association of Ohio State.

Wenda Williamson, CBE's public relations coordinator, won the COE Outstanding Service Award, and Geoff Hulse, director of computer services, shared the COE Exemplary Team Performance or Service Award with the other members of the ETS Client Services Team.

The College of Engineering Staff Awards are intended to provide a mechanism for employees to be recognized for outstanding performance in support of the college’s mission and university core values in going "above and beyond" in the performance of duties.
