Dongzhu Wu, a recent Ph.D. graduate (November 2017) from Winston Ho’s group, has been selected as a winner of the 2018 Young Membrane Scientist Award from the North American Membrane Society (NAMS).

The selection of this award is based, in part, on academic achievements as well as research plans and future potential in the field of membrane science and technology. The award consists of $500, a commemorative plaque, a one-year NAMS membership, free meeting registration, and a conference hotel room (three nights) for Dongzhu to present a paper entitled “Hydrophilic and Morphological Modification of Nanoporous Polyethersulfone Substrates for Composite Membranes in CO2 Separation” in the special Award Session at the 2018 NAMS Annual Meeting in Lexington, KY on June 10 – 13, 2018.

Congratulations, Dongzhu!
