Society of Petroleum Engineering students visit Ascent Resources

On November 3, Society of Petroleum Engineering (SPE) students visited an oil well drilling facility in Ohio, hosted by Ascent Resources.

SPE is becoming an active and well-represented student organization as the newly-revived petroleum engineering minor has gotten off the ground. The program is led by Professor Ilham Il-Monier, who joined CBE last June, and Paul Dubetz, a CBE alumnus and retired oil executive.
