CBE earns awards at 2017 OSU Materials Week Conference
Celebrating Ohio State's materials community over four days, this spring's Ohio State University Materials Week boasted a record attendance of 376 researchers, staff and students - and several CBE students and faculty were among those recognized for their achievements.
Student Awards
Three Minute Thesis Competition:
Matthew Souva (Advisor: Jessica Winter, Barbara Wyslouzil)
Student Poster Award:
Out of 114 posters with 107 eligible to be judged and a record number of posters tied for the highest scores, 22 students received awards. CBE winners included:
- Saurabh Ailawar (Advisor: Umit S. Ozkan)
- Mariah Whitaker (Advisor: Nicholas Brunelli)
