Five CBE students place in Denman Undergrad Research Forum
Every spring, the Richard J. and Martha D. Denman Undergraduate Research Forum provides a competitively judged arena for undergraduates to showcase their research projects and creative works with the University community.
In the Engineering category of the 22nd Annual Denman Undergraduate Research Forum held March 30 this year, five CBE students won placements:

Sushmitha Ravikumar, Third Place, Engineering-Chemical & Environment. Advisor: Umit Ozkan.

About the Denman Forum
The Denman Undergraduate Research Forum, now in its 22nd year, is coordinated by the Undergraduate Research Office and generously supported by Mr. and Mrs. Denman, the Office of Research, the Office of Undergraduate Education, and corporate and private donors. The Denman Forum provides an opportunity for undergraduate students to showcase their research, scholarship, and creative activities to the OSU community and beyond.
Mr. and Mrs. Denman are long-time members of the Ohio State University community and proud supporters of the Denman Undergraduate Research Forum, since its inception. In addition, they have established the Richard J. and Martha D. Denman Undergraduate Research Forum Endowment Fund.
They also have established a Professorship for Clinical Research in Epilepsy and The Richard J. and Martha D. Denman Fund for Basic and Clinical Research in Epilepsy in Memory and Honor of their son, Richard (Rik) J. Denman, Jr. Both Mr. and Mrs. Denman are Inaugural Members of the Oval Society, established in 2010 and lifetime members of the President’s Club and the Ohio State Alumni Association.
Mr. Denman served as an Ohio State University Foundation Board Charter Member Director (1985-2003) and is now an Emeritus member and Lifetime Director of the Board. He is a member of Medicine’s Order of Hippocrates, as well. In 1996, the University presented him with a Distinguished Service Award.
