Bhavik Bakshi named Morrow Chair

Professor Bhavik Bakshi has been appointed to the Richard M. Morrow Endowed Chair in chemical engineering. The chair was established in 1995 with support from the Amoco Foundation in honor of Richard M. Morrow, retired chief executive officer of Amoco. Morrow earned his Bachelor of Engineering in Mining from Ohio State in 1948.
Bakshi, who assumed the chair following the retirement of the previous Morrow Chair holder, Martin Feinberg, focuses his research efforts on sustainability science and process systems engineering
